La Liga giants Barcelona are set to celebrate rapper Drake after reaching a milestone of 50 billion streams on Spotify with special shirts on Sunday.
The special shirts will see the Spanish club replace the logo of Spotify, who are their sponsors with that of Drake’s OVO during their Sunday clash against Real Madrid in the much awaited El-Clasico.
During the Sunday clash, Barcelona players will done shirts with Spotify’s logo in the front and ‘Drake 50’ at the back. During the match, they will ware the four-time Grammy award winner’s logo.

Speaking on the news was Barcelona’s marketing vice-president uli Guiu who said that the idea behind the move is to bring football and music together.
“Our alliance with Spotify goes beyond a mere commercial relationship. It is a strategic relationship through which we seek to bring together two worlds that can arouse emotion – namely music and football,” Said uli Guiu
Marc Hazan, Spotify’s vice-president of partnerships welcomed the move meant to celebrate one of the biggest games in history and Drake’s milestone.
“We were really excited to celebrate one of the biggest games of the year and mark Drake’s milestone as the first artist to reach 50 billion streams.
“We’ve always said that we want this partnership to be a celebration of fans, players and artists on a global stage – and there’s no bigger stage than El Clasico.” Said Marc
