Parents and stakeholders of Irindiro Secondary School in Thangatha ward, Tigania central sub-county, have come out gun blazing over what they call bad behavior and misconduct of their school principal.
According to parents who spoke exclusively to Meru TV, the principal Mr Piereno Ndanu Ngare left the school on the eve of this year’s Jamhuri day and up to date he hasn’t shown up.
The principal is also said to have failed to collect exam papers for the form 4 candidates prompting officers from the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to supervise the exam with the whereabouts of the principal still unknown.
In addition to this, Mr. Ngari is accused of misusing school properties, recently being two dairy cows which are said to have been stolen from the school. One of the parents who spoke to us alleged that the cows have been seen at the principal’s rural home.
The parents now want the Teachers Service Commission to take a disciplinary action against the principal.
