President William Ruto is not to blame, according to the head of the opposition, Raila Odinga, for the allegedly rigged August elections.
But, he blamed the rigging allegations on the previous IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati.
“William Ruto is not to blame.
The man who was representing him.
Chebukati was also advocating for Ruto “he stated.
He claimed that the scheme to cheat him out of victory had been in place for a while and that they had looked into it.
About the individuals involved and the conversations they had, including Supreme Court members, Raila claimed that they had strong evidence.
He denounced the removal of the Cherera Four from office as well as the tribunal headed by Judge Aggrey Muchelule’s finding that Azimio had a scheme to rig the elections.
Ruto received 5.9 million votes, according to Raila, whereas he received 8.1 million.
“We have a lot of supporting evidence.
There is no disputing that “he stated.
Raila said that they learned that his loss was planned as a result of Chebukati’s involvement in the purchase of the ICT infrastructure and their cooperation with Smartmatics together with IEBC CEO Hussein Marjan.
